VERO FETE

Terms of service

Effective October 14, 2026 · VERO FETE is a trade name of Akoji LLC, a Texas limited liability company.

  1. Agreement

VERO FETE is a trade name of Akoji LLC, a Texas limited liability company. These terms are an agreement between you and Akoji LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as VERO FETE ("we", "us"). They cover verofete.com, app.verofete.com, every gallery we serve and our camera upload service (together, "VERO FETE").

By creating an account, or by viewing or using a gallery, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy at verofete.com/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use VERO FETE. If you use VERO FETE for a business, you accept these terms for that business too.

Section 16 says that disputes go to arbitration in Texas, one person at a time, unless you opt out. Please read it.

  2. The service

VERO FETE makes live photo galleries for events. A photographer connects a camera once. During an event, the camera sends each photo to us over FTP, and guests who scan the event's QR code or open its link see the photos within seconds.

Guests view without an account. A guest is asked to sign in to download a photo, keep a favorite, send picks to the photographer or open a host invite.

VERO FETE is new and will change as it grows. We may add, change or remove features.

  3. Your account

You must be 18 or older to create a photographer account, and each person may have one studio. A guest must be at least 13 to sign in.

Give true details. Keep your sign-in and your camera's login to yourself, and tell us at once at hello@verofete.com if someone else uses them. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your camera sends and what the second shooters you invite upload.

If you create an account for a business, you confirm that you may bind it to these terms.

  4. Free plan

VERO FETE is free for photographers and for guests today. We may introduce paid plans or paid features later. We will tell you by email at least 14 days before any charge could apply to you, and we charge nothing without your agreement.

  5. Your photos and your guests

You own your photos. We claim no ownership of them.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, watermark, display and deliver your photos, and to show your studio's name, logo and links, as needed to run VERO FETE for you and your guests, including letting signed-in guests download your photos. The licence ends when the photos are deleted, except for copies guests have already downloaded and copies in our backups until they are replaced.

You promise that you own the photos or have the right to upload them, including any taken by a second shooter; that you have the consent of the people in them, of the event's host and of a parent or guardian for any child, wherever the law requires it; that the photos are lawful and infringe no one's rights; and that your studio's name, logo and links are yours to use.

You decide who sees each gallery and for how long. Guests with a question or a complaint about a photo should contact you first, and you will deal with it. We may pass requests we receive to you.

Your camera's original files keep the data the camera writes into them, which can include where a photo was taken. Guests who download a photo receive that original file.

  6. Guests

By viewing a gallery, you agree to these terms. The photos belong to the photographer.

You may view a gallery, share its link with people from the event, and download photos for your own personal use, unless the photographer allows more. You may not sell, license or publish the photos commercially without the photographer's permission.

You may not scrape a gallery, download photos in bulk with automated tools, get around a PIN or a closed gallery, or access VERO FETE by automated means.

If you are in a photo and want it taken down, ask the photographer, or use "Report a photo" under the gallery.

  7. Host, not publisher

Photographers upload their photos and decide what their galleries show. We store and serve them. We do not review photos before they appear, and we are not responsible for their content.

If you believe a photo infringes your rights, shows you without your consent or is unlawful, use "Report a photo" under the gallery, or write to us at hello@verofete.com or 23144 Cinco Ranch Blvd, Ste B #271, Katy, TX 77494. Tell us which gallery and which photo, what is wrong, and how to reach you.

When we receive a notice, or see a problem ourselves, we may hide or remove a photo, close a gallery or suspend an account, and we may tell the photographer about the notice. We close the accounts of photographers who repeatedly infringe others' rights, in appropriate circumstances.

  8. Acceptable use

Do not use VERO FETE to upload photos you have no right to, or photos that are unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful or harassing; to upload sexual or exploitative images of anyone under 18; to photograph people where they expect privacy, such as in changing rooms or bathrooms; to track or identify people without their consent; to send spam or harmful code; to break, overload or probe VERO FETE, or get around its limits or security; to reverse engineer it, except where the law allows; or to resell VERO FETE itself without our written permission.

We may remove content and suspend an account that breaks these rules. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities as the law requires.

  9. Gallery expiry and deletion

By default, a gallery stays open to guests for 30 days after the event ends, and the photographer can change that date. When it passes, guests see a closed page. Closing a gallery deletes no photos.

A photographer can delete their studio in Settings. It closes at once, and the photographer has 30 days to restore it. After that, we delete the account and its personal data as our privacy policy describes. An event that a host still holds stays with its hosts until the last one leaves or deletes their account.

A guest can delete their account from the account menu in any gallery. Photos already downloaded stay on the guest's device.

  10. Availability, not a backup

We work to keep VERO FETE running and photos arriving within seconds, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, that every photo will arrive or appear on time, or that nothing will be lost. A camera, a venue's Wi-Fi, a phone and the internet all sit between your shutter and a guest's screen.

VERO FETE is not a backup. Keep your original files on your camera's cards or in your own storage. We are not responsible for photos that are lost, delayed or not delivered.

We may pause VERO FETE for maintenance, upgrades or security. Help is by email at hello@verofete.com.

  11. Intellectual property and feedback

VERO FETE, its software, design, name and logo belong to Akoji LLC. These terms let you use VERO FETE as we offer it; they give you no other right in it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them for any purpose, without paying you or owing you anything. Feedback does not include your photos.

  12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using VERO FETE at any time. A photographer deletes their studio in Settings; a guest deletes their account from the account menu in any gallery.

We may suspend or close an account, hide photos or close a gallery, at our discretion, if you break these terms, if your use puts us or others at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why.

We may stop offering VERO FETE. If we do, we will give photographers reasonable notice by email, so they can keep their copies.

Sections 5 (for copies already made), 11, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18 continue after these terms end.

  13. Indemnification

If you are a photographer, you will defend and indemnify Akoji LLC, its owners, employees and agents against any third-party claim, and the losses, damages and reasonable legal costs that come from it, arising from your photos or your branding; your events and your guests' use of your galleries; a consent your photos needed and you did not have; or your breach of these terms or of the law.

If you are a guest, you will do the same for any claim arising from your breach of these terms or your use of the photos.

We will tell you about the claim. You may not settle it in a way that admits fault for us or binds us without our written consent.

  14. Disclaimer of warranties

VERO FETE is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that VERO FETE will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, or that photos will be delivered, kept or shown as expected.

Some places do not allow some of these exclusions. There, they apply as far as the law allows.

  15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Akoji LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, photos, business or goodwill, even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability for all claims about VERO FETE is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. On the free plan you have paid us nothing, so the limit is USD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

  16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act.

Before starting a claim, write to us at hello@verofete.com so we can try to settle it.

Any dispute about VERO FETE or these terms will be decided by binding arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules that apply to the dispute. The arbitration takes place in Harris County, Texas, or by phone or video where the rules allow. The arbitrator's decision is final, and any court with jurisdiction may enter judgment on it.

You and we may bring claims only as individuals, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action. An arbitrator may not combine the claims of more than one person.

Either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court instead, if it qualifies. Either of us may ask a court for urgent relief to stop the misuse of intellectual property or of VERO FETE.

You can opt out of arbitration by emailing hello@verofete.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms, with your name, your account's email address and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, or if arbitration is not allowed, disputes go to the state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

  17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a material change, we post the new terms here and email photographers and signed-in guests at least 14 days before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using VERO FETE after a change takes effect, you accept it; if you do not agree, stop using VERO FETE and delete your account.

  18. General

These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about VERO FETE. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term at once, we have not waived it.

You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as power or network failures, natural disasters or acts of government.

We send notices to the email address on your account; you send them to hello@verofete.com. You and we are independent of each other: nothing here makes us partners, or employer and employee. You will follow US export and sanctions laws when you use VERO FETE.
